Our History
1
In February of 1988 our fellowship was commissioned through apostles and prophets by the laying on of hands. The first assembly was held in the living room of Pastor Gary and Keri’s apartment.
2
Shortly thereafter, the assembly outgrew the living room, prompting us to begin meeting in the meeting hall at Brookfield Library. For many years, we dedicated ourselves to setting up and tearing down equipment every single Sunday, including speakers and microphones, while longing for a building to call our own.
3
After eight years at the Brookfield Library, we moved to the Ramada Inn in Danbury, CT, for one year. During this time, we waited on the Lord to open the door for a more permanent assembly place.
4
After one year at the Ramada Inn, the Lord made a way for us to rent a building on Grassy Plain St. in Bethel, CT. We spent many fruitful years at the Grassy Plain location. It was a humble building that was literally falling down around us, but we knew God had a plan to move us forward. Throughout this time, we were preparing for the future, and that future finally arrived.
5
In 2014, through the faithfulness of God and the support of the family of God, we were able to purchase our current location at 2 Vail Rd. in Bethel, CT. It seems that every step of progress for our ministry has always begun with humble beginnings. The property we acquired contained an empty warehouse, which we transformed through an absolute labor of love. Today, it stands as a beautiful sanctuary that houses the presence of our living God.
